Macro photography is a unique form of photography that involves photographing small objects to make them look life-sized or more significant in the photo. The usual subjects include flowers and small insects, which we don't normally get to see up close with the naked eye.
The class will start when the insects are more active. So be ready to explore and capture breathe-taking macro images.

We will be starting with an overview of landscape photography technique, how to decide what to take a picture of and how to compose shots, we will then move into settings and more technical challenges to get an idea of when the camera behaves best for landscapes.You can use buildings and other man-made structures compositionally in the same way other landscape photographers use trees and rolling hills. Wind farms, harbours, cement works, power stations, quarries, pylons and building sites are just a few of the industrial landscapes you can photograph. The Liverpool docks are the perfect setting for this kind of photography meetup.
